Inca Discovery Peru may be one of the newer agencies in Cusco, but we certainly don´t lack the knowledge or experience you would expect from one of the top tour agencies. Our General Manager Timoteo Auccapuma started as a porter on the Camino Inca, then he worked for years as a Guide and for the last 8 years as Administrator of one of the leading tour agencies. A native of Chinchero, a small community above Cusco, Tim has worked with and knows many the local guides, cooks, horsemen, and so on and is able to pick only the best, so we can offer you the best. The porters for instance, are chosen from several local communities, they know each other and work well together. Choosing all porters from a single community is just one example of how we also work toward improve the lives of people in the small communities surrounding Cusco.
