
At 6:00 we'll pick you up from your selected hotel. We'll leave by our private transport to Mollepata 2800 meters, beautiful scenic journey through Limatambo, stopping for panoramic views of the Apurimac Valley, where you can have a breakfast in a typical restaurant. After that we'll drive for 1hr until our trailhead called Sayllapata (3200 meters), there'll meet our mule drivers "horsemen" and trek staff, 2 1 / 2 hours hiking through traditional Andean communities like Cruzpata, Challacancha, unspoiled Andean villages to Soraypampa (3750 meters), where we'll have the lunch. Then after 4 hours we'll arrive to our first campsite, Soyrococha (4 200 meters).
The second day we'll ascent to the highest point of our trek, Salkantay Pass 4600 meters from this point we can appreciate the special views of the Mountain Salkantay, a stunning snow capped mountain (6271 meters), 3 hours walking with spectacular views of Huayanay Humantay and the mountains, small lakes and morraines arriving to our lunch site, Huayraqmachay (3700meters), then we'll go down for 3 1 / 2 hrs until our second campsite, Collpapampa (2600 meters).
The third day, the group will walk for 4 hrs, easy downhill hike, we will be introduced to a high Jungle niche called Ceja de Selva, where coffee, coca plantations and fruits can be observed, time to shower in a waterfall, take amazing pictures , with luck we can observe the famous Peruvian National Bird "Gallito de las Rocas" stop in Playa (2250 meters) for lunch, then we take a local transportation for 45 minutes until Santa Teresa, where we have our third campsite.
After breakfast, we will cross the river and then walk to Hidroelectrica Train station (km 116), where we have our last camping lunch. Then continue walking for two and a half more hours to Aguas Calientes (2 000 meters).

Early wake up in order to take the bus to the Citadel of Machupicchu, guided tour for 2 hours and plenty of free time to explore more, optional time to Climb the mountain Huayna Picchu, Temple of the Moon or the Sun Gate, after that You have to take the bus to go down to Aguas Calientes and wait for the train to return, arrive in Cusco and transfer to the hotel.
